Last July 2012, before my husband went to his overseas duty, we got to go to the Medievil Times in Ft Worth, TX. My active duty husband is showing our 13 year old the chastity belt worn long ago (in the torture chamber area). :) We had absolute fun! The food was great and they served a lot! No utensils. I recently moved to Houston, TX and this is far from a military community (e.g., VA, WA, Guam and CA). Although my family is here, it is like starting over again but without people in my boat. While my husband is overseas, the adjustment is hard. I truly and sincerely, appreciate the Veteran Tickets Foundation and anyone or any organization who donates in any way. Events of any kind in a non-military area make me and my family feel appreciated (as silly as it may sound) in our sacrifices in the homefront. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our ticket benefactors for allowing me to take my stepson to this awesome event. Before the event, my stepson thought it would be a bit of a joke, but once we arrived, he saw the warm ups and was impressed with the quarterback. Once the game began we were both very impressed with the action and especially the impacts, which were far more than expected. The event was a hit. Thanks again.
