great day in Oakland seeing the Raiders beat the Detroit Lions. Met some friends there and BBQ'd. Weather was very nice. The only thing that was weird was that they charge $35.00 for parking. Thats for Auto's and Motorcycle's & since we were on bikes, we thought $35.00 per bike was a little expensive. But oh well...... Can't wait to go to more Raiders/49er games..... What a show! I couldnt think of any better way to celebrate my 6 year reenlistment than at a concert of the best band ever. This show was spectacular.

The Patriots's Outpost was wonderful. The volunteers always showed thanks for our service and could not have been more attentive. They served food and cold beverages throughout the day, and we were provided tables with awnings along the fairway to watch the golf along with air conditioned tables (and TV's) inside. Even the retrooms were clean and air conditioned, which was nicer than the public accomodations. My wife and I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you, as I am not sure we would have been able to attend without receiving the tickets from Vet Tix.

I attended the Barclays tournament on Friday the 24th on Long Island. I want to say thank you very much to who ever donated the tickets. My brother and I had a fantastic time. We visited the Military Pavillion and it was fantastic. The hospitality that was given to us was greatly appreciated. I signed a poster that was being shipped to Aphganistan.

Thank you very much for the tickets to the game! My son 8 is a huge Rangers fan it was incredible to spend some quality dad/Son time together. The opportunities to do things like this are memory makers and cherished. We both are very grateful for the donation and the words "thank-you" seem to fall short of what it meant to us. He will undergo open heart surgery this fall and I recently received "unaccompanied" orders for two years. We are doing all we can together before his surgery and I leave. Hopefully opportunities like this will still come his way even while I'm away.

I had a Navy Veteran friend of mine in town on business from Washington and I invited him to the game!!! He had the time of his life because it was his first NFL game!!! It was my 2nd NFL game ever!!! We had an awesome time!!! Thanks Vet Tix!!!
