This was a super program. We really enjoyed hearing Mary Wilson - of the Supremes - singing the music of Lena Horne. The story of her life beautifully narrated by James Gavin. The backup music was beautiful as well. It was nice having some great music that brought back memories too while we watched a well done set of slides of Lena Horne's life. Would dearly love to recommend this program to others nearby but it is a one-night only! So glad we came! Thank you Chandler Center for the Arts for choosing this great program to play in your beautiful theater. We do enjoy attending events there!
