Mom's Gift - Saturday

Thank you to Meadow Brook Theatre for tickets to see "Mom's Gift" with Cindy Williams. We enjoyed the play and seeing Cindy in person after seeing her on TV for many years. It was a terrific surprise to have so many smiles and laughs during nearly every scene. I thought it would be a drama I may have to fight back tears watching and was pleased to see I guessed incorrectly. What a great cast and unique show. We were particularly thankful for the young man taking tickets. Upon request, he escorted us into the theatre to help us find our seats. Noticing 1 of our group was blind he thoughtfully asked if we would like to sit in the empty seats in the rear of the venue instead of going down all the steps to our assigned seats up close. If was a great relief and time saver to sit in the back because there are no continuous connected railings when going down the steps. The venue has no bad seats, you can see and hear the show perfectly with no problem from anywhere inside Meadow Brook.

Thank you for the ticket to Mom's Gift. There was only one ticket left and I thought, why not. I'm glad I went. The play staring Cindy Williams was really good. A lot funnier than I thought it would be. What made it even better was the art exhibit happening across the hall. That made intermission more enjoyable. Meadow Brook theater is intimate, so even in the last row you can still see the stage. Thank you Meadow Brook for donating the tickets. I hope next year I can win the Christmas Carol tickets and take my friend to see that play.
