Thank you to WVU, Scottsdale Quarterback Club and Vet Tix donors. Not only was the 2016 Cactus Bowl one of the most exciting bowl games of the season, but it was about 50 degrees warmer than last year's Cactus Bowl.

What an amazing evening that I was able to share with my wife and what has got to be the closest (score wise) Bowl Game of the 2015-16 season. I could have asked for a different outcome, however, my entertainment and level of excitement would not have changed. I deeply appreciate the tickets as I took out a veteran who was homeless and a couple other friends who can't afford to spend money on going to football games. I would like to thank vettix, Scottsdale Quarterback Club, and WVU for the donation of tickets as it was a very friendly gesture that I too redistributed the tickets to other veterans and good friends in need of a good time to relax.

Thank everyone for the donation of tickets. It was wonderful to get to see my Alma Mater play and be able to take my wife and daughter to the game. It was her first major football game and it was so exciting for all of us. We experienced a true family bonding that I've been unable to do with them due to my numerous overseas deployments. In fact this game was the only time I had with my family during the holidays as I returned to the U.S. on Jan 1, missing thanksgiving and Christmas. It truly was bonding with my daughter and we had the best time together in years. I truly thank the donors for helping to bring our family closer together by being able to attend the Cactus Bowl.

As a lifelong WVU fan, it was wonderful to attend with my two sons, who are also fans. We all transplanted to the Phoenix area. The ASU crowd was loud and classy, so it was a great evening. And, we really got our money's worth because the game lasted over 4 hours!

We had a wonderful time. My family and I enjoyed the bowl game, although our team didn't win! The West Virginia folks did a wonderful job on the half time show and showed so much pride in their team, band, and their over all out look of the game... nicely done folks!
